Mark Siebert Senior Consultant

Mr. Siebert is the founder and CEO of the iFranchise Group. He has worked with hundreds of franchisors, from start-up operations to Fortune 500 companies. A franchise consultant since 1985, he is expert in evaluating companies for franchisability, structuring franchise offerings, and developing franchise programs.
During his career spanning more than twenty-five years, Mr. Siebert has personally assisted numerous retail companies with their franchise programs including: 24 Hour Fitness, Ace Hardware, Amoco, Armstrong World Industries, Auntie Anne’s Soft Pretzels, Foot EFX, Hallmark, John Deere, Lenscrafters, OXXO Cleaners, Ryder Truck Rental, and The Athlete’s Foot. He travels extensively to meet with companies considering franchising, and regularly conducts workshops and seminars on franchising in cities around the world. Mr. Siebert has been actively involved in assisting US franchisors in expanding abroad. He has personally supervised the establishment of international consulting practices in Argentina, Chile, Japan, Mexico, Spain, Uruguay, Peru, and the Philippines.
Mr. Siebert is frequently called upon as an expert witness in franchise-related cases. He writes a monthly column for Franchise Times and Entrepreneur.com. Mr. Siebert’s awards include: Franchise Times 20 to Watch (2002); International Franchise Association Member Recruitment Award (multiple years); AAFD Supporting Member of the Year; and AAFD Top Quality Franchising Chairman’s Award.
With a BS in Advertising and an MBA from Northern Illinois University, Mr. Siebert is an internationally published author and is widely quoted in the business press. He has taught graduate level courses in franchising at DePaul University.
